Job summary

Red Wolf Trucking in Milwaukee seeks an experienced CDL dump truck driver to haul asphalt, stone, millings, and aggregates across Southeast Wisconsin. Local work, home every night.

You will work with dispatch, perform pre-trip inspections, and follow DOT safety rules. Manual transmission trucks; road test before hire. Must have clean MVR and no recent OWI. Seasonal overtime and a steady schedule through fall.

Qualifications

• Ability to start early and handle seasonal overtime.
• Must be able to reach Milwaukee yard each morning.

Job description

Red Wolf Trucking is hiring an experienced CDL dump truck driver to haul asphalt, stone, millings, and aggregates to paving and construction projects throughout Milwaukee and Southeast Wisconsin. Local work only - home every night.

This is a construction hauling job. Applicants must have a CDL and prior dump truck experience. Our trucks are manual transmission, and you will road test before you are hired.

Pay and hours

• Starting at $34 per hour, based on experience
• Paid holidays - Thanksgiving this year; four paid holidays a full season
• Overtime is steady during the season. Most weeks run 45-55 hours
• Season runs through Thanksgiving with your seat waiting in April

Equipment

2019-2022 Kenworth T800 quad axle dump trucks, manual transmission, well maintained. You keep your truck clean and report problems the same day.

What you'll do

• Haul asphalt, stone, millings, and aggregates to paving jobs and plants
• Work with dispatch and paving crews to keep trucks cycling
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily
• Follow DOT and company safety requirements

What you need

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with no air brake restriction and no automatic-only (E) restriction
• Prior dump truck or construction hauling experience - quad or tri-axle preferred
• Clean MVR, no OWI in the last 5-7 years
• Early starts and seasonal overtime
• Able to get to our Milwaukee yard every morning
