Job summary

MC Trucking in Wilmington, OH is seeking CDL Class A drivers to operate quad-axle or larger dump trucks for hauling asphalt, concrete, stone, RAP and other construction products. Drivers will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and ensure DOT compliance while delivering materials to plants, job sites and customer locations.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of dump truck experience, a clean MVR, and are dependable, safety-minded with the ability to navigate tight spaces and climb

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 1–3 years of experience operating quad-axle or larger dump trucks.
• Strong knowledge of DOT safety requirements and vehicle compliance.
• Ability to perform minor truck maintenance and complete basic paperwork.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-minded.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Haul materials such as asphalt, concrete, stone, RAP, and other construction products.
• Load and unload trucks safely at plants, job sites, and customer locations.
• Deliver materials according to dispatch instructions and job specifications.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Operate trucks in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Maintain mileage, inspection, and delivery logs daily.
• Assist with unloading by hand if necessary.
• Follow directions from dispatch and site supervisors.
• Adhere to OSHA and MSHA safety procedures on jobsites.

MC Trucking, located in Wilmington, OH, is seeking highly skilled and experienced CDL Class A Drivers to operate quad axel or larger dump trucks.

Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver Responsibilities:

Material Hauling & Delivery:

• Haul a variety of materials including asphalt, concrete, stone, RAP (recycled asphalt pavement), and other construction products.
• Safely load and unload trucks at plants, job sites, and customer locations.
• Deliver materials according to dispatch instructions and job specifications.

Vehicle Operation & Compliance:

• Perform accurate and complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Operate trucks in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Maintain and submit mileage, inspection, and delivery logs daily.

Preventative Maintenance & Reporting:

• Monitor truck performance and identify issues early.
• Immediately report mechanical problems or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Keep truck clean, safe, and in good working condition.

Jobsite & Team Support:

• Assist with unloading by hand or shovel if necessary.
• Follow directions from dispatch and site supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety procedures on jobsites, including OSHA and MSHA regulations.
