Job summary

Digital Control Incorporated (DCI) seeks a mid-level software developer with 5+ years of GUI development in Qt/QML, strong C++, and Linux desktop experience to build cutting-edge applications for HDD industry. You will work in a collaborative Scrum team, write production code, and advance software architecture with SOLID principles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years GUI development in Qt QML with strong C++ skills.
• Desktop Qt QML experience, Dependency Injection and MVVM.
• UI/UX design and data visualization to create a polished UX.
• Ability to design and implement visually compelling screens using QML.
• Experience with Unit Testing/TDD and high code coverage.
• Solid understanding of software design and architecture patterns.
• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Domain experts & UX designers to build a high usability UI.
• Work effectively in a Scrum Agile process.
• Identify and propagate best practices for GUI in Linux desktop apps.
• Develop software per established Product Development Life Cycle processes.
• Write requirements, develop Unit Test Plans, maintain traceability.
• Participate in peer-reviews of designs, implementations, and documentation.
