Position Overview

The Restaurant District Manager (RDM) is responsible for all aspects of management including People, Operations, and Financials. The RDM leads a team of 10-14 Restaurant Managers (RMs), developing and motivating them to perform effectively. This position may oversee multiple states and brands, reporting directly to the Restaurant Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities

1. Guest Focus: Promote a guest-centric culture, develop business strategies for growth, coach RMs on marketing strategies, and empower team members to resolve guest issues promptly.
2. Leadership and Talent Management: Recruit, hire, onboard, and train RMs and RMTs; conduct performance evaluations; implement discipline; foster personal development; communicate company values.
3. Operational Standards and Compliance: Ensure restaurants operate according to brand and company standards, follow safety laws, complete incident reports, and maintain product quality and cleanliness.
4. Financial Accountability: Manage all financial and operational metrics, analyze performance, create improvement plans, and respond to market changes.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years multi-unit restaurant management experience
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• ServSafe Manager Certification preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational skills
• Ability to work long hours, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed
• Physical ability to perform job duties in various environments
