Job summary

Restek Corporation in Bellefonte, PA seeks a Quality Systems Engineer III to drive robust quality across design, manufacturing, and supply. You’ll partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to implement process controls and lead audits and investigations.

You will apply ISO 9001 principles, DOE and SPC methods, and risk-based decision-making to deliver superior product quality and regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science with 7+ years in lab/manufacturing.
• Prefer 5+ years in a quality-focused role.
• Chemistry background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust process controls with Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Drive continuous improvement using Corrective Action, audits, Change Management, and Deviation Analysis.
• Plan and execute internal quality audits; deliver reports and actions.
• Support customer and regulatory audits; maintain quality standards.
• Contribute to New Product Development with strong process capability and quality controls.
• Develop and uphold Quality Systems procedures aligned with goals.
• Lead Change Management processes for quality initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints; perform root-cause analysis.
• Conduct root-cause analysis forums; use data trends to guide improvements.

• Develop, refine, and uphold QualitySystemsprocedures,ensuringalignmentwithorganizationalgoalsandindustrybestpractices.


• Lead and facilitate ChangeManagementprocesses to ensure seamless implementation of quality initiatives.


• Investigate and resolve customercomplaints,identifyingrootcausesanddrivingeffectivecorrectiveactions.

What You'll Bring:

Education and Experience:

Typicallyrequiresabachelor’sdegreeinengineeringorarelatedscientificdisciplineplusatleast7yearsoflaboratoryormanufacturingexperienceortheequivalentcombinationofeducationandexperience.Preferablywith5yearsinaqualityfocusedrole.

• Chemistrybackgroundpreferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Deep understanding of qualityprocesses,ISO9001principles,andrelatedstandards.


• Advanced proficiency in statisticalmethods, including DesignofExperiments(DOE)andStatisticalProcessControl(SPC).


• Strongrisk-baseddecision-makingskillstoresolvecomplexqualitychallengeseffectively.


• High-level customer interaction skills, with the ability to provide in-depthproductknowledge.


• Proven experience leading majorauditsandconductinghigh-impactqualityinvestigations.


• Outstanding communicationandleadershipskills, with the ability to influencestakeholdersatalllevels.
