Job summary

bisco Industries in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Quality Management Systems Manager to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the QMS, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100, and focusing on contract review, risk analysis, and corrective actions.

You will manage a small quality team, drive continuous improvement, collaborate with customers, regulators, and suppliers, and support audits; travel modestly both domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of management with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in aerospace, electronic, electrical or industrial markets, with ISO9001/AS9100 requirements.
• 2+ years’ experience with QMS auditing; AS9100 experience preferred.
• BS degree in quality, engineering, business or related field.
• Experience in global, multi-site quality management in regulated industries (medical, aerospace, automotive).
• ISO 9001 Auditor certification or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is a plus.
• Able to manage time and resources efficiently and meet deadlines.
• U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident, and willing to complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small team of quality coordinators.
• Manage corrective and preventive action processes and verify effectiveness.
• Track KPIs to promote continuous improvement.
• Perform customer contract reviews for accuracy and conformity to Bisco policies.
• Collaborate on supplier assessments and approvals as needed.
• Assist in planning and organizing audits with customers, suppliers, and regulators.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required for audits and inspections.
• Support senior management on special projects.
