Job summary

Mid-Florida Fasteners, LLC is seeking a part-time QMS Manager to maintain and enhance our Quality Management System. This remote role supports ISO 9001:2015 compliance, internal and external audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement while collaborating with leadership.

The position is ideal for an experienced quality professional seeking flexible, remote work with approximately 10–20 hours per week and US-based support for aerospace, defense, and industrial fastener quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing or administering a Quality Management System.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
• Experience conducting internal audits and managing corrective actions.
• Experience with document control and quality records management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and support future certifications.
• Manage internal audit programs and coordinate external audits.
• Facilitate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and root cause investigations.
• Review and update quality procedures, work instructions, forms, and records.
• Oversee document control processes.
• Support management reviews and quality objectives tracking.
• Identify quality trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with supplier quality issues and corrective action requests.
• Provide guidance on industry best practices and quality compliance requirements.
• Support customer and regulatory quality inquiries when needed.
• Collaborate with leadership on strategic quality initiatives.

Position Summary

The QMS Manager will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and overseeing our Quality Management System. This role is ideal for an experienced quality professional seeking a flexible, part-time remote opportunity. The successful candidate will work closely with company leadership to ensure ongoing compliance with ISO requirements, support audits, manage corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

QualificationsRequired

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based collaboration tools

Preferred

• Lead Auditor certification
• Experience with AS9120, AS9100, or aerospace industry quality systems
• Experience supporting defense, aerospace, aviation, or government contractors
• Familiarity with DLA, FAA, or DCMA quality requirements
• Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives

Schedule

• Part-Time (approximately 10-20 hours per week)
