Job summary

Watlow Electric Manufacturing Company seeks a Quality Management System Engineer II at the Advanced Technology Center in St. Louis, MO. You will support development and maintenance of QMS, ensuring ISO 9001/2015 compliance, and lead internal and external audits with regulatory bodies and customers.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive corrective actions, and contribute to the quality and reliability of Watlow's products, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or two-year degree with related experience.
• QMS in a regulated industry and regulatory surveillance experience preferred.
• Experience leading individuals or teams and delivering on time.
• ISO 9001/2015 experience preferred.
• Certified Lead Auditor preferred.
• Experience developing procedures and controlled documents.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans and Gauge R&R.
• Ability to read and understand procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Lead Auditor training provided if not currently certified.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform all work safely by following safety rules and proactively suggesting improvements.
• Manage QMS initiatives and auditing functions with cross-department teams.
• Prepare and maintain the QMS to meet compliance standards.
• Plan, conduct, and manage internal and external audits for customers and regulators.
• Address and close post-audit actions to maintain certifications.
• Provide QMS training to employees on standards.
• Lead management reviews, risk assessments, 6S, and continuous improvement projects.
• Investigate QMS issues and implement corrective actions.
• Travel up to 25% to support audits and compliance.
