Job summary

BENTELER Steel/Tube in Shreveport, LA seeks a Quality Management Systems (QMS) Coordinator to maintain and improve the QMS, support audits, CAPA, and process control development.

You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure compliance with API/ISO/TS standards, drive corrective actions, and advance quality tools and documentation using SAP and related systems. Strong English communication and data presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Quality Management System area.
• Knowledge of API / ASTM/TS/ISO standards and specifications.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• Must be able to manage all aspects of process control development.
• Previous experience working with SAP is preferred.
• Detail oriented with proven analytical, problem identification and resolution skills.
• Excellent command over English with good editing and proof reading skills.
• Ability to organize, present, and explain complex data in a clear manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage and Maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Process Improvement (develop, revise and procedures).
• Develop, Maintain and Improve tools for Quality.
• Support Internal, Product/ Process Audits and External Audits.
• Supporting CAPA program, FMEAs, control plans
• Support investigation/tracking of customer complaints
• Maintenance and continual improvement of QMS.
• Interprets Standards (API/ ISO/ TS/ ASTM/ ASME or Customer Specs) to update/ revise procedures and communicate with the team.
• Plan and support product/ process, internal and external audits.
• Determine system improvements; implementing changes.
• Support QA/ QC/ Operations and other functional teams in the development and releasing procedures
• Work with the suppliers in resolving any quality issues during implementation phase of Quality Tools
