Job summary

Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide mental and behavioral health treatment at the MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility in Woodburn. The role involves collaboration with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, or psychologists to maintain a nurturing treatment environment within the living unit.

Preferred bilingual English/Spanish applicants may receive a differential.

Qualifications

• QMHP eligibility and licensure as required by Oregon
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred and may include differential
• Relocation assistance available for the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental and behavioral health treatment to youth
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, or psychologists to coordinate care
• Lead and implement evidence-based interventions within a group living unit
• Support Living Unit Manager and Case Coordinator to foster a therapeutic environment

Skills

Bilingual English/Spanish

Education

Bachelor's degree in nursing or occupational therapy

Master's degree in psychology, social work, recreational, art or music therapy, or behavioral health science
