Qualifications

  • Degree in a social, behavioral or human services field as required.
  • Must meet TAC criteria for a QMHP with a four-year degree in a related field.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License and vehicle liability insurance.
  • Experience with mental illness and/or substance use disorders; team-based care.

Responsibilities

  • Location based in Scurry, Texas, ~35 miles southeast of Dallas.
  • Work independently with clear, timely documentation.
  • Transport individuals or arrange transportation as needed.
  • Assist transition of individuals to community integration and recovery goals.
  • Develop coping skills with individuals and document progress.
  • Interact with individuals throughout shifts and with other professionals.
  • Know housing options and community resources; notify staff for crises.
  • Participate in admissions and incident reporting and maintain records.
