Strategic Therapy Associates in Virginia is seeking a QMHP-eligible Mental Health Clinician to help children and families overcome challenges and avoid out-of-home placements.

You'll provide counseling in homes, communities, or schools, build rapport, and use family systems approaches to empower clients toward positive change. Note: most appointments are afternoons/evenings, with some weekends.

Qualifications

• QMHP-eligible with a Bachelor's in a human services field.
• Prior mental health experience (community-based a plus!).

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling in homes, communities, or schools.
• Help clients resolve issues to prevent institutionalization and keep families together.
• Build rapport and use creative therapeutic techniques.
• Complete necessary clinical documentation.
