Job summary

Strategic Therapy Associates Inc. is seeking QMHP-eligible Mental Health Clinicians to support children and families in Virginia. This role involves counseling in homes, communities, or schools to prevent out-of-home placements and promote family stability.

You will build rapport, apply family systems approaches, and complete essential clinical documentation while maintaining a flexible, family-centered approach. Partnerships with licensure pathways and supervision may be available.

Qualifications

• QMHP-eligible with a Bachelor's in a human services field.
• Prior mental health experience (community-based a plus!).
• Flexible, family-oriented, optimistic, and open-minded.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, personal vehicle, and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling in homes, communities, or schools.
• Help clients resolve issues to prevent institutionalization and keep families together.
• Build rapport and use creative therapeutic techniques.
• Complete necessary clinical documentation.
