Qualifications

• Must meet Virginia QMHP eligibility requirements (relevant degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field).
• Experience providing direct mental health services in a clinical or community-based setting.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Strong clinical documentation and case management skills.
• Active QMHP certification (may be QMHP-Trainee).
• Ability to conduct mental health skill building sessions and develop individualized service plans.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and crisis intervention skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under supervision of an LMHP.
• Provide direct therapeutic services and crisis intervention to clients.
• Monitor and document client progress, updating care plans as clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, case managers, and community resources to coordinate client care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and agency standards.
• Facilitate individual and/or group sessions using evidence-based practices.
• Participate in staff meetings, clinical supervision, and ongoing professional development.
