Job summary

Century Park Associates in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (QMAP) to deliver quality assisted living services and maximize residents' independence according to the care plan. Reports to the Resident Care Director.

This role requires current QMAP/Med Tech certification and CPR, with a preference for one year in senior services. The position may be full-time, part-time, or PRN, with shifts including second and third.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Med Tech or QMAP certification; certification must remain current during employment.
• One year experience in senior services preferred.
• CPR certification on hire or within 90 days; certification must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Follows policies and procedures for medication administration, ordering, and delivery.
• Immediately reports med errors or missing medications.
• Provides quality care to residents as indicated on the care plan.
• Promotes resident independence per the service plan.
• Complies with all infection control guidelines.
• Ensures proper transfer of medication cart between shifts, including narcotic count.
• Documents medication administration in the EHR per policy.
• Participates in community Lifestyles activities and outings, encouraging resident attendance.
• Demonstrates patience, compassion and integrity with residents.
