Qualifications

• QMAP certification in CO required or equivalent.
• Successful completion of state-approved Medication Administration training.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document regularly prescribed medications per physician orders.
• Order meds to ensure residents have medications available and notify if delays occur.
• Document medications promptly in the resident's medical record with date and initials.
• Observe for adverse reactions and report to the licensed nurse.
• Assist in care plan development and maintain resident privacy and dignity.
