Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions seeks a Qualified Medication Aide – Inuslin Certified at Marion County Jail in Indianapolis, IN. You will prepare and administer medications under RN supervision, document on the MAR, and follow safety and HIPAA standards.

Responsibilities include infection control, adherence to the six rights of medication administration, audits, and maintaining the medication cart and supplies. Minimum education is a high school diploma with QMAP and CPR credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related medical experience preferred.
• QMAP training completed with competency evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer prescribed medications under RN supervision, ensuring compliance with facility policies, Pharmacy Board regulations, and safety principles.
• Document medication administration accurately on the MAR, including any medications not administered and reasons for non‑administration.
• Adhere to infection control techniques, universal precautions, and the six rights of medication administration.
• Participate in data collection, medication audits, and performance improvement activities, promptly reporting adverse reactions to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medication cart, reorder supplies as needed, and uphold patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
