Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Fort Collins, CO is hiring a Qualified Medication Aide (QMAP) for our inpatient detox/residential unit. You will provide medical care, assist with nursing duties, and coordinate with care teams.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, QMAP licensure, valid driver's license, and at least one year sober if in recovery; competitive benefits available.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, timely medical care to stabilize clients and enable engagement in treatment.
• Assist with nursing shift duties (vitals, drug screens, medication administration, charting).
• Collaborate with medical and clinical teams for seamless care coordination.
• Manage, order and restock medical supplies as necessary.
• Schedule medical appointments and arrange aftercare providers post-discharge.
• Assist with pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations.

Now Hiring QMAPs for our inpatient Detox and Residential treatment facility, in Ft. Collins, CO.

What You'll Do:

• Provide quality, timely medical care to stabilize clients and enable them to engage fully in
  treatment
• Assist with all nursing shift duties (vitals, drug screens, medication administration, charting and reporting etc.)
• Collaborate with extended medical and clinical teams for seamless coordination of care
• Manage, order and res-stock all medical supplies as necessary
• Schedule medical appointments and arrange aftercare providers for post-discharge
• Assist with all pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations

Education/Requirements:

• Must have high school diploma/ GED
• QMAP licensure required
• Must have valid driver's license with clean record
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
