Job Description

In this role, you provide basic patient care, assist with daily activities, administer medications, and monitor patient conditions, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff. Qualifications

• Successful completion of Resident Care Assistant and Medication Assistant Training courses
• Completion of the 60-hour Qualified Medication Assistant course and 40-hour practicum
• Passing the Qualified Medication Assistant exam
• Certification as a Qualified Medication Assistant by the State of Indiana
• Registration with the State Department of Public Instruction
• Meet all qualifications for Nurse Assistant
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
• Neat, well-groomed, and professional appearance
• Pass a physical examination required at employment
