Job summary

Towne Centre Assisted Living in Merrillville, IN is seeking a compassionate Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to join our caregiving team. You will administer medications, monitor vitals, and support residents with daily activities.

A passion for elder care, ability to work with families, and teamwork are essential. Prior long-term care experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) by the state
• Must have no finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
• Skilled at tackling numerous tasks and makes quick decisions.
• Can foster good resident and family relationships.
• Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
• A passion for working with elderly residents.
• Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility a plus, but not required.
