Job summary

The Help Group is seeking a QIDP/Program Manager to develop and supervise service plans for residents with intellectual disabilities. This full-time position involves training staff, conducting reviews, and engaging with community groups. Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in human services or related fields.

Position Details
  • Full-Time
  • Location: North Hills
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and supervise individual service plans for residents, ensuring clear and measurable objectives.
  2. Create behavior support plans and train staff in their implementation.
  3. Draft plans of correction in collaboration with the team for licensing and regional requirements.
  4. Write monthly summaries of residents' progress towards their goals.
  5. Conduct periodic reviews of each resident’s plan, including six-month and annual reviews.
  6. Ensure staff are properly oriented, trained, and receive ongoing in-service training.
  7. Facilitate staff meetings with the team.
  8. Review referral packets and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
  9. Develop and manage resident activity calendars and ensure they are displayed appropriately.
  10. Assist with program activities and resource procurement.
  11. Engage with community groups and participate in outreach efforts.
  12. Maintain on-call responsibilities and provide coverage as needed.
  13. Serve as a program leader in the absence of the Program Director.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in human services or related fields such as sociology, psychology, or nursing.
  • At least two years of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
  • Administrative and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid CA driver’s license with a good record.
