Position Details

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and supervise individual service plans for residents, ensuring clear and measurable objectives.
- Create behavior support plans and train staff in their implementation.
- Draft plans of correction in collaboration with the team for licensing and regional requirements.
- Write monthly summaries of residents' progress towards their goals.
- Conduct periodic reviews of each resident’s plan, including six-month and annual reviews.
- Ensure staff are properly oriented, trained, and receive ongoing in-service training.
- Facilitate staff meetings with the team.
- Review referral packets and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Develop and manage resident activity calendars and ensure they are displayed appropriately.
- Assist with program activities and resource procurement.
- Engage with community groups and participate in outreach efforts.
- Maintain on-call responsibilities and provide coverage as needed.
- Serve as a program leader in the absence of the Program Director.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in human services or related fields such as sociology, psychology, or nursing.
- At least two years of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Administrative and supervisory experience preferred.
- Valid CA driver’s license with a good record.
