Job summary

FacadeToday seeks a Traveling Construction Safety Coordinator to support safety operations on large-scale industrial and mechanical projects across multiple states. You’ll maintain a strong field presence, conduct inspections, support training, and work with project leadership to identify and reduce jobsite risks.

This role requires 3+ years of safety experience, OSHA 30-Hour Construction, and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of construction, industrial, or mechanical safety experience.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction required.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and construction safety practices.
  • Experience conducting inspections, risk assessments, and safety training.
  • Strong incident investigation and documentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with field personnel and project leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety/compliance technology.
  • CHST, CSP, or related safety credentials preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and identify hazards.
  • Enforce OSHA, ANSI, company, and project safety requirements.
  • Lead toolbox talks, orientations, and safety training.
  • Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Monitor PPE, safe work practices, and high-risk activities.
  • Review JHAs, PTPs, permits, and other safety documentation.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and field teams.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across the project.
