Job summary

CEVA Logistics seeks a Quality and Safety Manager to coordinate safety performance and program management at field contracts. You will train employees and drive cost control through Lean initiatives while upholding CEVA's guiding principles.

You will develop KPIs, lead investigations, and mentor new Quality/Risk Managers, ensuring OSHA compliance and continuous improvement across contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in transportation or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain, transportation or logistics.
• 2 years’ experience in OSHA regulations and State regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and professionally manage safety performance and program management at field contracts.
• Develop/monitor KPI’s and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Create and implement cost savings through LEAN & FIT initiatives.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for quality and safety standards.
• Ensure staff adheres to established work standards and processes through ongoing communication.
• Develop training programs to meet company-training objectives and facilitate Safety First.
• Lead investigations, root cause analyses and OHSA compliance actions when needed.
• Mentor new Quality/Risk Managers and support new business implementations.
