Job summary

Danone U.S. seeks a QFS Plant Quality Change Manager in Jacksonville, FL to drive quality and safety across change projects in a manufacturing setting. You will partner with plant leadership and central teams to validate procedures, specs, and processes for new recipes, packaging, or equipment improvements.

The role requires experience with SAP/ERP systems, GMPs, and data-driven problem solving. Strong collaboration, training, and documentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science or Engineering (required).
• 3+ years in QFS/Operations/Engineering in the food industry (required).
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and quality management principles (preferred).
• Experience with experimental design, data analysis, and SPC/CIP (preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership and collaboration across functions (required).

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical feasibility studies for plant projects.
• Conduct QFS risk assessments integrating ingredients, processes, and packaging.
• Develop qualification protocols and ensure resources are trained.
• Coordinate training and ensure capabilities in the plant via QFS Assurance.
• Review new recipes and changes for quality and process capabilities.
• Ensure new specifications are understood and implemented.
• Stay current with regulatory guidelines and Danone standards.
• Evaluate deviations and support product release analyses.
• Coordinate laboratory tests for recipe and material changes.
• Supervise budgets for production trials and tests.
• Manage quality documentation for serious complaints.
• Ensure food safety training for all employees.
