Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is seeking a Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead QEHS programs for facilities in Ontario, CA and Mexicali, MX. You will maintain ISO certifications, coordinate external audits, and drive corrective actions across complex manufacturing operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing, a related technical degree, and strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality tools. Travel to Mexico and customer sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 3 to 5 years minimum experience within a manufacturing environment (including team management).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools (PDCA, 8D) and project management (FMEA, Functional analysis).
• Willingness to travel to Mexicali and possibly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage Receiving Inspectors, Final inspectors, and Quality Engineers.
• Maintain and develop QEHS quality systems and ISO certifications in Ontario (CA) and Mexicali (Mexico).
• Coordinate external audits with registrar.
• Lead internal system audits and train auditors.
• Address customer complaints with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Oversee Corrective Action Preventive Action programs (NCMAs, supplier nonconformities).
• Participate in APQP and PPAP submissions for new product development.
• Ensure qualification of products and processes before changes or new start-ups.
• Develop QEHS risk assessments with operations.
• Participate in EH&S incident investigations and prepare reports.
• Train employees on EH&S risks.
• Review specifications to meet contractual quality requirements.
• Communicate with management, suppliers, and customers.
