Job summary

LEGO Group Virginia is offering a two-year Quality & EHS Intern position within our manufacturing environment. The role supports QA and EHS programs, audits, and continuous improvement on the production floor, with data collection and reporting of quality KPIs.

You will help with safety inspections, risk assessments, and documentation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and promote a safe workplace. Hybrid work policy applies.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in a related field (see Education).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, Quality, or EHS roles preferred.
• Exposure to ISO standards, auditing, or safety programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and follow-up of EHS programs and initiatives.
• Assist in safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
• Track safety observations, incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate training and EHS communication activities.
• Participate in environmental and workplace safety improvement projects.
• Maintain compliance with internal EHS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a safe working environment and support safety culture initiatives.
• Support daily quality operations and address production floor issues.
• Assist data collection, analysis, and reporting of quality KPIs.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Update documentation such as work instructions and quality records.
• Assist with audits, process confirmations, and quality inspections.
• Monitor compliance with company quality standards and procedures.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for defect reduction and process stability.
• Provide support to the Quality Team by gathering information and supervising production orders.
• Assist in investigations related to internal and external complaints.
• Support training and onboarding of QEHS team members.
