Position Summary

The ideal Assistant Manager is a confident individual with proven experience in guest service, employee management, and motivation. As the AM, you'll support the company and your GM by maintaining an excellent working environment through leadership, training, and development. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Maintaining fast, accurate service that models excellent hospitality.
  2. Assisting with training, monitoring, and reinforcing food safety procedures.
  3. Partnering with the leadership team to meet or exceed sales goals.
  4. Assisting in managing food and labor costs.
  5. Monitoring food inventory levels.
  6. Managing and maintaining safe working conditions.
  7. Managing team members to encourage growth and reduce turnover.
  8. Providing excellent training for team members and direct reports.
  9. Ensuring continual improvement in quality, service, and cleanliness.

Position Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; age requirements may apply to comply with laws. Previous management or supervisory experience is required. Ability to communicate in English is required; Spanish is helpful. Fundamental reading, writing, math, and computer/POS skills are necessary. Must meet background check criteria and successfully complete our management training. A valid driver’s license with access to transportation and the ability to complete administrative driving requirements is required. Physical demands include reaching, bending, stooping, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Work involves walking or standing during entire shifts, with hazards such as slips, trips, burns, cuts, abrasions, and falls. A minimum commitment of 50 hours per week is required, including variable shifts, weekends, and evenings. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for individuals with disabilities.
