Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team onsite at BMW in Greer, SC. You will perform torque validation and calibration to ensure accuracy and reliability of tooling and equipment, helping keep production safe, efficient, and on schedule.

You will report to the Service Team Leader, with a 4x10 schedule (7:30pm–6:10am) and a full benefits package. Candidates need 3 years in production, calibration experience, customer service, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to

Qualifications

3 years of experience in a production environment with manufacturing automation or data collection systems.
Experience troubleshooting and calibrating equipment with a mechanical aptitude.
Customer service experience.
Proficient with computer systems such as MS Office.
HS diploma or GED required.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

Inspect and calibrate tools and equipment to meet accuracy standards.
Collaborate with the customer to provide technical support on the production line.
Monitor operations and identify opportunities for troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for quality processes.
Assist design and implement error-proofing strategies to improve reliability.
