Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; chemistry/related field preferred.
• 1–2 years laboratory/quality-control experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of chemistry, lab practices and safe handling.
• Strong math skills and ability to perform calculations.
• Basic computer skills including data entry.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to verify quality and customer specifications.
• Accurately record test results, observations, calculations, and data in quality records.
• Identify out-of-specification or unusual results and communicate to supervisor.
• Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure inspection equipment is calibrated.
• Ensure compliance with quality policies, customer requirements, and safety procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement of lab procedures and processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• May occasionally work in manufacturing areas, warehouses, or outdoor environments.
