Position: Quality Assurance Lab Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Supervisor, evaluate ingredients and products at various production stages.
• Collect samples regularly for testing.
• Assess samples for weight, color, baking quality, etc.
• Conduct microbiological tests.
• Make processing recommendations based on evaluations.
• Maintain accurate records of all tests and evaluations.
• Check metal detectors for safety compliance.
• Perform mathematical calculations related to weights and log data accurately.
• Maintain flour-tailing reports.
• Train new Lab Technicians II as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness of work areas.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies, including food safety, EEO, harassment, and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in a similar Quality Assurance laboratory role.

Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
