Job summary

Roush Yates Engines seeks aQuality Control Technician on 1st or 3rd shift to ensure the quality, safety, and integrity of manufactured parts. You will perform inspections, analyze data, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Design teams to resolve issues and prevent repeat defects.

The role involves operating CMMs, vision systems, and other inspection tools; candidates should have 3+ years in programmable inspection equipment and strong GD&T knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating programmable inspection equipment.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprints, gaging, and dimensional measurement methods.
• Knowledge of ISO and calibration requirements.
• Certificate, associate degree, or equivalent experience in manufacturing or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual, visual, dimensional, and attribute inspections and document results.
• Operate and, when qualified, program CMMs, vision systems, Formtracer, and other inspection equipment.
• Review inspection/DCC data and generate nonconformance reports.
• Analyze defect and dimensional data to support corrective actions and continuous improvement.
