OHLA USA has an immediate opening for a QC Tech - Roadway in Fort Myers, FL. The role supports quality control testing and inspections of roadway paving materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

You will work closely with QC personnel, project managers, and field crews to maintain high-quality roadway construction. Responsibilities include testing asphalt and aggregates, collecting samples, documenting results, and communicating findings to adjust

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of roadway construction or QC preferred.
• Able to read/interpret construction specs and test results.
• Strong attention to detail and testing protocols.
• Basic knowledge of construction materials and testing methods.
• Able to work outdoors and perform physical labor.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation required.
• ACI/FDOT certifications preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends, overtime.
• Pass drug, fit-for-duty tests and background check.

Summary

Our company has an immediate opening for aQC Tech - RoadwayinFort Myers, Fl. The QC Tech - Roadwaywill be responsible for assisting in quality control (QC) testing and inspections of roadway paving materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. This position requires working closely with QC personnel, project managers, and field crews to maintain high-quality roadway construction.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to work in outdoor conditions and perform physical labor.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

• Ability to work flexible schedules such as nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Pass drug test, fit-for duty test and background check.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and operate equipment for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Work in a physically demanding outdoor environment with potential exposure to heat, dust, noise, and uneven terrain.

Work Environment

• Outdoor construction sites with exposure to various weather conditions.
• Noise levels associated with heavy equipment operation.
