Job summary

Getinge is hiring a Quality Control Technician II to perform acceptance testing and inspections on in-process and finished goods, ensuring they meet requirements. You will document results, support quality system compliance, and participate in process improvements in a regulated manufacturing setting.

The role emphasizes testing accuracy, data integrity, and readiness to train others while serving as a final quality checkpoint for patient safety. NJ site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; science/math/business degree preferred.
• 2+ years in quality or regulated environment, or a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in FDA-regulated environments and medical devices preferred.
• Ability to work 1st shift 8AM-4:30PM; overtime optional.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing and inspections on products per procedures.
• Review Shop Floor Paperwork for completeness before release.
• Document results and maintain quality records accurately.
• Train Inspectors on testing methods and policies as needed.
• Monitor SPC data and escalate risks to Quality Management.
• Support proactive quality control and continuous improvement.
