Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a quality-focused technician to conduct sampling and testing of hot mix asphalt, ensuring compliance with specifications across our sites.

You will maintain precise test records, calibrate equipment, and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues while supporting continuous improvement of asphalt performance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct sampling and testing of hot mix asphalt to ensure compliance with specifications
• Maintain accurate records of test results and report deviations promptly
• Calibrate and operate testing equipment in accordance with quality standards
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to asphalt quality and performance

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
