Job summary

• Thorough knowledge of CMT team processes and procedures.

• Assists RSO and Fleet/Equipment Manager as needed.
• Assists project managers with field documentation (Ajera, timesheets).
• Serves as direct supervisor for all technicians.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees and monitors the training of field staff to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• This is a hybrid office/remote role that requires travel to the main office for onboarding and training, along with periodic travel to project and job sites as business needs dictate. Travel includes but is not limited to project sites to conduct quality audits, staff training, technician relief, and to address on-site EPC, and client-related issues.
• Troubleshoots and resolves quality-related issues that arise in the field.
• Formulates, revises, and continuously updates quality control policies and procedures.
• Functions as a working supervisor with authority over personnel actions, subject to management approval.
• Coordinates technician schedules, including PTO approval and denial.
• Interviews and hires new technicians and oversees the complete onboarding process.
• Assists the RSO and Fleet/Equipment Manager as needed.
• Assists project managers with field documentation, including Ajera and technician timesheets, as needed.
• Serves as the direct supervisor for all technicians.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading Construction Materials Testing (CMT) projects, with demonstrated ability to validate and coordinate the work of others in a support or team-lead capacity.
• Recognized as a knowledge resource for team members and proactively recommends process improvements.
• Thorough knowledge of CMT team processes and procedures.
