Job summary

Lonza in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a QC Supervisor – Microbiology to lead a team of QC analysts in a GMP-regulated environment and drive quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. You will develop talent, coach staff, and coordinate microbiological testing activities to meet production schedules and customer commitments.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related field, plus proven supervisory experience and a track record of process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience working in a Quality Control laboratory within a GMP-regulated environment.
• Strong microbiology experience; Environmental Monitoring experience is preferred.
• Previous supervisory or people management experience with a proven ability to lead teams.
• Strong performance management skills, including coaching, mentoring, and accountability.
• Experience supporting or leading process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
