Job summary

Olgoonik Corporation in San Diego, CA seeks a Quality Control Specialist to manage quality program planning and evaluation, identify issues, and provide technical advisory services.

You will evaluate systems, analyze data, establish control procedures, and support government data systems; travel domestically and internationally may be required.

Candidates should have a BA/BS, 4+ years QC IT experience, CAP, WMS, MIL-STD-129, and MOUS certification.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of quality control experience in an IT environment.
• Experience with Corrective Action Plans (CAP).
• 3+ years’ experience working with the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• 2+ years’ experience with MIL-STD-129.
• Government contracting experience is preferred.

Overview:

The Quality Control Specialist – QC manages quality program planning, quality program evaluation, identifying and resolved quality issues, and providing technical advisory services.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluates systems
• Analyzes data
• Establishes control procedures
• Use DSS and other Government Data Systems
• Validates processes
• Performed IAW DLA Distribution Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Audits Readiness Internal Controls

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Supervisory responsibilities are not anticipated.

Education and/or Experience:

• BA/BS Degree in related field
• 4+ Years of Quality Control experience in an IT related environment
• Experience with Corrective Action Plans (CAP)
• 3+ years’ experience working with the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• 2+ years’ experience with MIL-STD-129.
• Government contracting experience is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of Material Hazard and Bio-Hazard Communication (MSDS)
• Knowledge of the Material Receiving / Handling sections of ISO 9000
• Experience with OEM Process Flow System and Procedures (NCR)
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite of products including Word, Excel, Access and E-mail business software.
• Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a Team
• Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision
• Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention for detail.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Microsoft Office Suite (MOUS) Certification, Microsoft Certified Professional Security Clearance.

Security Clearance:

• The candidate must be able to pass a thorough government administered background investigation for the site.
