Job summary

Serán BioScience in Bend, Oregon, seeks an experienced Quality Control Scientist II to support an extended manufacturing schedule and all QC testing, with a focus on in-process control lab methods to ensure manufacturing excellence.

The role requires cGMP laboratory experience, strong analytical instrumentation skills (preferably HPLC), data management, and effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Schedule is 11:00 am–8:00 pm, Monday–Friday, with flexibility to support swing shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven analytical instrumentation experience (preferably HPLC) with 1–2 years in a cGMP pharma lab.
• Strong written and verbal communication with coworkers, clients, and external contacts.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in cross-functional teams while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to SOPs, cGMPs, Quality Manual, and company policies.
• Performs routine extractions and testing for dissolution, assay, and impurities.
• Operates analytical equipment including HPLC, dissolution apparatus, and FTIR; records data accurately.
• Performs appearance testing, sampling of raw materials, solution prep, and pH measurements.
• Drafts stability tables, sets up stability studies, logs samples and standards.
