Job summary

Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a Lead Sample Management Specialist to oversee a team in a regulated facility. You will verify sample submissions to Quality Control, manage sample documentation in LIMS, and ensure proper handling, storage, and shipment of samples.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, meeting deadlines, and maintaining SOP compliance. Leadership experience, strong communication, and U.S. work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Life Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Leadership experience.

• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Verification of sample submissions to Quality Control.
• Documentation of sample transactions in LIMS.
• Handling, storage, and organization of samples.
• Delivering samples to QC laboratories for testing.
• Interacting with outside customers and functional peer groups.
• Fulfilling sample pull requests.
• Compliance with regulatory agency requirements.

• Ensuring compliance with SOPs; reports anomalies through deviation system.
• Lead a team of Sample Management Specialists in a regulated facility.
• Coordinate, support, and monitor team performance via quality metrics.
• Communicate status with client contacts; set priorities and timelines.
• Set individual and team goals to define scope of work.
• Manage time off and payroll entries.
• May participate in new hire interviews.
• Support onboarding of new employees.
• Participates in training of other employees.

• Coordinates, supports, and monitors performance of team through quality metrics while ensuring client deadlines are met
• Coordinates with client contacts to communicate status of deliverables, determine priorities, and set timelines.
• Set individual and team goals to develop the scope of work and responsibilities of the team
• Manage time off and payroll entries of the team
• May participate in new hire interviews
• Supports the on-boarding process of new employees
• Participates in training of other employees.

Qualifications

• cGMP experience

Basic Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Life Sciences or related concentration

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

• Position is full-time, schedule is 1st shift Sunday - Wednesday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Base pay is between $26.00-$30.00/hr. A $50 flat-rate weekend shift differential will also be included for weekend shifts.
