Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions seeks a Sample Management Leader to oversee a team in a regulated facility, ensuring proper handling, documentation, and timely delivery of samples for QC testing.

You will coordinate with clients, manage onboarding and payroll, and promote SOP compliance. This full-time role follows a Sunday–Wednesday 6:00 AM–4:30 PM shift, with base pay of $26–$30/hr and a $50 weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Preferred: cGMP experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Life Sciences or related field; 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify sample submissions to Quality Control.

• Deliver samples to QC laboratories for testing.

Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

• Verification of sample submissions to Quality Control
• Documentation of sample transactions in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Handling, storage, and organization of samples
• Delivering samples to QC laboratories for testing as required
• Interacting with outside customers and functional peer groups
• Fulfilling sample pull requests
• Compliance with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements
• Conducting temperature, environmental, and/or CO2 monitoring.
• Preparation of samples for shipment
• Performing sample inventory and disposal
• Ensuring compliance with SOPs; reports any quality or other anomalies through the Deviation Notification and Resolution system

Leadership Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Sample Management Specialists in a regulated facility
• Coordinates, supports, and monitors performance of team through quality metrics while ensuring client deadlines are met
• Coordinates with client contacts to communicate status of deliverables, determine priorities, and set timelines.
• Set individual and team goals to develop the scope of work and responsibilities of the team
• Manage time off and payroll entries of the team
• Supports the on-boarding process of new employees
• Participates in training of other employees.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Life Sciences or related concentration
• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment withthe ability to multitask
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, schedule is1stshift Sunday - Wednesday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM.Base pay is between$26.00-$30.00/hr.A$50 flat-rate weekend shift differentialwill also be included for weekend shifts.
