Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a dedicated Environmental Monitoring Technician to perform GMP environmental monitoring across manufacturing areas and utility testing, using LIMS to track samples and results. The role supports calibration, readiness, and training activities, requiring an independent yet collaborative team player with strong attention to detail.

The position offers full-time hours, Sunday-Wednesday 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM, and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Life Sciences, microbiology majors preferred.
• Relevant experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
• Environmental Monitoring experience preferred
• Microbial identification procedure knowledge
• Knowledge cGMP is a plus
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental monitoring of GMP manufacturing and process areas.
• Collect samples from high-purity water, clean steam, and compressed gas systems to support quality and compliance requirements.
• Conduct routine utility testing in accordance with established procedures.
• Use the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to track samples, test results, and laboratory activities.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies, microbiological media, and reagents to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Support the coordination of equipment maintenance, calibration, and laboratory readiness activities.
• Assist with the training and onboarding of team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Perform basic microbial identification and data review, as assigned.
• Conduct acceptance testing of commercially prepared microbiological culture media, as applicable.
• Participate in an on-call, overtime, and weekend rotation to support business and operational needs.

Additional Information

• Position is full-time, Sunday-Wednesday 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM.


• Pay range: $18.00- $23.50 per hour based on degree and experience level
