Job summary

Bio-Techne in Minneapolis is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform routine QC testing for ProteinSimple capillary electrophoresis systems, including iCE and SimpleWestern. You will plan, execute, and manage QC processes to ensure product releases meet specifications, and you will work with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Product Support, Assay Development and QA.

The role requires hands-on analytical skills in electrophoresis, isoelectric focusing, and data analysis, with a focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or similar science degree with 0-2 years of laboratory experience.
• Associates degree or non-scientific bachelor's with 2+ years' relevant GMP life science experience.

Responsibilities

• Run QC assays for reagents and consumables, analyze results and review trending data.
• Record lot numbers, expiration dates, and material observations with precision.
• Revise SOPs of low complexity to improve procedures.
• Initiate deviation and out-of-specification investigations.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and document activities.
• Keep inventory of reagents and consumables needed for QC assays.
• Participate in continuous process improvements and lab safety compliance.
• Follow lab protocols for chemical handling, hazards, labeling and SOPs.
