Overview
The QC/Production Associate I will operate radiosynthesizers for the production of drug products and analytical equipment for quality control.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform FDG and NaF synthesis according to SOPs.
- Ensure all materials and reagents are accepted per SOPs and within expiry.
- Ensure equipment is qualified prior to use and operate according to SOPs.
- Assist in routine maintenance and basic operational understanding of synthesis units.
- Perform quality control processes for FDG and NaF, including equipment calibration and qualification.
- Maintain cGMP documentation and assist with inventory management and reporting.
- Communicate with support resources for troubleshooting.
- Perform basic cyclotron operations under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment, adhering to radiation safety and environmental SOPs.
- Complete qualification, validation, and documentation requirements, including investigations and deviations.
- Attend meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate's degree in chemistry, engineering, or natural sciences preferred.
- Experience with computer-controlled automation preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work various shifts, weekends, and lift approximately 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, teamwork, and professional communication skills.
- Up to 5% travel may be required.
