Job summary

BSN SPORTS, A VARSITY BRANDS COMPANY is seeking a Quality Control, Pack, Shipping Warehouse Associate to ensure products are stocked, picked, packed and shipped accurately. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment at McClellan Park, CA, with 8-hour shifts and potential overtime during peak season.

Base pay is $18.80 per hour, with a standard 40-hour week and opportunities to contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years in warehouse/manufacturing.
• Minimum one year of quality experience.
• SAP experience required.
• Read English instructions and documents.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders from locations.
• Ensure orders are complete and accurate.
• Stage orders at shipping stations.
• Operate handling equipment following safety rules.
• Maintain high health and safety standards.
• Shrink wrap products to pallets.
• Load delivery vehicles.
• Pack warehouse orders as needed.
• Operate scanners to ensure correct order picking.
• Perform other general warehouse duties.

WORK HOURS Monday – Friday, 2pm-10pm

Full Time Team members work 8-hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers.

Peak Season (July-December) Requirements

Mandatory overtime may include some weekends.

What You Will Do

• Pulls orders from locations
• Ensure orders are complete and accurate
• Stages order/s correctly at shipping stations
• Operates handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
• Ensures warehouse goals are met
• Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
• Shrink wraps products to pallets
• Loads delivery vehicles
• Packs warehouse orders as necessary
• Operates scanners so that the proper order is picked
• Performs other general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES

• Minimum one year of Quality experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic blueprint reading skills.
• Moderate understanding of quality control standards and techniques.
• 2 years in-depth SAP experience
• Learning tasks quickly is detailed, accurately driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellent attendance.
• Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently.
• Strong time management and attention to timelines.

Education/ Experience

• HS Diploma or GED (required)
• 1 - 2 years’ experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel
• Operational, Warehouse, Logistics or comparable experience preferred.
