Job summary

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is seeking a QC Order Clerk (Freezer/Cooler) to ensure order accuracy and maintain quality control data in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

You will verify orders, assist with transfers, and document statistics while operating in freezer and cooler environments. A high school diploma and strong Excel/Office skills are required; ability to lift 45 lbs and work with diverse teams is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite; Excel knowledge mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. regularly; ability to work in freezer/cooler environments.

Responsibilities

• Spot-check orders in the warehouse to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Verify nightly CSFP orders for accuracy to support order fulfillment.
• Assist with daily cycle counting and inventory control reporting.
• Coordinate product transfers between facilities to support inventory movement.
• Maintain and update quality control data in spreadsheets.
• Safely operate a pallet jack to support order checking and efficiency.
• Communicate professionally with staff and leadership to resolve order-related needs.
