QC Manager

Position Overview

The selected QC Manager will be representing the Prime Contractor on federal construction projects and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations, implementing quality management systems, and leading a team to achieve project objectives. Must have an active CQM cert, and prior experience with design-build projects and IDIQ project delivery for serious consideration. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for construction projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Lead and manage the quality control team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including reports, records, and compliance certifications.
• Train and mentor team members and other staff on quality control practices and procedures.
• Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality management in construction.
  
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant vertical construction experience (5+ years of QC management)
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Active CQM cert
• Project experience with NAVFAC, GSA, and/or USACE
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to obtain a base clearance
• Prior experience with SCIF construction is a PLUS
