Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a QC Manager in the Whiting, IN area to plan and coordinate quality control programs ensuring continuous production of products meeting established standards.

The role requires extensive welding/QA experience, API certifications, and the ability to read isometric diagrams, PIDs and CAD drawings; post-offer drug and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in welding, quality control, and/or inspection.
• API 510/570/653 certifications.
• CWI certification preferred.
• Knowledge of coordinating NDE
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to read isometric diagrams, PIDs, CAD drawings, etc.
• Interpreting / Understanding 3D modeling
• Post offer drug/alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of policy
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety of others.

Responsibilities

• Develops an understanding and working knowledge of the QC program and standards; performs inspections and witnesses tests.
• Performs audits to ensure QA/QC compliance and defines corrective measures.
• Maintains records and coordinates quality control activities across facilities.
