Piper Companies seeks a Lab Validation Lead in Marietta, PA to drive QC laboratory validation activities. The role will lead equipment qualification, analytical instrument validation, calibration programs, and CSV efforts while partnering with quality, laboratory, engineering, IT, and global validation teams.

The candidate must have 5+ years in pharma/biotech/vaccine validation with hands-on HPLC/GC experience and strong IQ/OQ/PQ protocol writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field.
• 5+ years in pharma/biotech/vaccine QC/validation.
• Hands-on with analytical instruments (HPLC/GC).
• Experience writing IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and validation docs.
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, data integrity requirements.
• Experience supporting audits, vendor management, inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead QC lab equipment and systems validation lifecycle.
• Author, execute, review IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and reports.
• Manage calibration and lifecycle of analytical instruments (HPLC, GC).
• Oversee computerized system validation and data integrity controls.
• Lead investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with QC, Quality, Eng, IT and global teams.
• Provide training and technical leadership on validation activities.
