Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a QC Validation Lead to support qualification of QC lab equipment and software in Marietta, PA. The role serves as the primary validation resource to ensure compliant instrument and system performance, partnering with lab teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a chemistry/engineering background with 5+ years in GMP environments, hands-on IQ/OQ/PQ, LIMS experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional projects with vendors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years in GMP-regulated pharma/biotech environments with validation experience.
Hands-on IQ/OQ/PQ protocol creation and execution for lab equipment.
Experience with analytical instruments (HPLC/GC/GC-MS) and LIMS.

Responsibilities

Lead qualification and validation activities for QC lab equipment and computer systems (IQ/OQ/PQ).
Support equipment lifecycle from installation to retirement and calibration.
Prepare validation docs, risk assessments, and change controls.
Collaborate with QC, QA, IT, vendors, and validation teams globally.
Lead investigations, audit readiness, and data integrity initiatives.
