QC Lab Technologist I (Phlebotomy) - 2nd Shift

Job summary

Werfen is seeking a QC Lab Technologist I to perform bench testing for finished goods and support investigations in the QC laboratory. The role requires documenting procedures and maintaining compliance with SOPs and ISO standards.

The position is on 2nd shift (12:00pm-8:30pm), temporary through the end of 2026 with potential extension or conversion depending on business needs. Phlebotomy license is a plus and base pay ranges $24-$29 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent preferred.
• GLP knowledge preferred.
• Experience in QC/QA in regulated medical device manufacturing or IVD manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA-GMP/QSR and ISO standards for quality a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of finished goods per relevant SOP.
• Assist with testing for product validation and process validation on existing products.
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping and supply levels in the QC laboratory.
• Document all finished goods test results and maintain records in QC.
• Maintain product testing database and trend data per SOPs.
• Assist with investigations and resolution of complaints and product issues.
• Prepare basic out-of-specification reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with the quality system requirements via training and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
